Curso optativo II Corrective Phonetics

Corrective Phonetics is a course of the discipline Linguistics Studies of English. It will allow the students to reinforce the professional aspect of the pronunciation of this foreign language. Therefore, throughout the subject the students will get into contact with the most common mistakes that Cuban Spanish speakers commit during the articulation of each sound of English and the main correction techniques that teachers could use to help the students overcome those pronunciation problems.

History of the Culture of English Speaking Peoples I: Great Britain

Welcome to the subject History of the Culture of English Speaking Countries.

For those who speak English and like to teach English,  history lovers and literature readers this course is the right place to be. It provides a useful introduction to the history of the greatest country of the British Isles: England. It surveys the development  this country underwent from the first inhabitants up to the  18th century, as well as to some events that shaped   the land into the country that it is today.

 It is by showing how these peoples lived and what historical facts contributed to the formation of the language, that it aims at providing participants with the knowledge of well-known events like the Norman conquest, the One Hundred Years War, the Black Death, the War of Roses, and others that influenced other countries in terms of economic and political transformations. This course also marks to the creativity of the works of famous writers such as Geoffrey Chaucer, John Milton and William Shakespeare to frame their contributions as the reflection of the historical period.

This course invites participants to know more about monarchies, empires and some of the world’s most notorious writers and most remarkably, to know about the English language.



Integrated English Practice VII

The subject covers theoretical and practical learning tasks which will provide you the necessary

 and  adequate communicative and professional competencies for the sake of planning

educative learning tasks within  the teaching learning process of the English language

at any of the different subsystems of education.


Integrated English Practice VIII

 The subject Integrated English Pracice VIII is taught for the students of the  foreign language majoring (Education). It  constitues a very important  course  in the base curriculum  in the version remote learning (modality CPE).  This subject has a total amount of 64 hours and  it belongs to the syllabus of the first semester of the school term.

 The syllabus is designed with a flexible and creative perspective. It covers theoretical and practical learning tasks which will provide the  student̀s the necessary and  adequate communicative and professional competencies  for the sake of planning   the teaching learning process of the English language at any of the different subsystems of education.

Práctica Integral de la Segunda Lengua V (Francés)

Bonjour à tous. Je suis la professeure de français de la quatrième année de la carrière Langues Étrangères Yulaisis Hernández, je vous donne la bienvenue à ce cours de français. Dans cette première période les étudiants doivent être capables de comprendre les points essentiels avec un langage clair et standard, ils doivent produire un discours simple et cohérent sur des sujets familiers et ses domaines d'intérêt par exemple :

·         á l´unité 2 entrer ou refuser entrer en contact avec  quelqu’un, exposer un problème, demander et donner des conseils,

·         á l´unité 3 Parler de soi, Poser des questions sur l’identité, le parcours professionnel, répondre à ces questions,

·         a l´unité 4 Inviter un ami, accepter une invitation, demander de l’aide, accepter et refuser d’aider et

·         á l´unité 5 s´exprimer oralement et par écrit en décrivant le lieu où nous vivons et en développant l ´amour pour la patrie, Décrire le lieu où l’on vit, exprimer son opinion et la justifier, Comprendre des textes argumentatifs et explicatives et en général continuer en travaillant avec des mots qui  sont très utiles dans la salle de classe pour enseigner aux autres.

Dans cette année Ils peuvent comprendre le contenu essentiel de sujets concrets ou abstraits dans un texte complexe, y compris une discussion technique dans sa spécialité, communiquer avec un degré de spontanéité et d'aisance tel qu'une conversation avec un locuteur natif ne comportant de tension ni pour l'un ni pour l'autre, Peut s'exprimer de façon claire et détaillée sur une grande gamme de sujets, émettre un avis sur un sujet d’actualité et exposer les avantages et les inconvénients de différentes possibilités.
