History of the Culture of the English Speaking Peoples I

During this course the pre-service trainees will delve into the different theoretical positions related to some cultural attitudes and will have the chance to evaluate the historic, artistic and cultural manifestations dating back from antiquity. Furthermore, the different landmarks  characterising the U.K. are showed off for further analysis and reflection. Through this course students will study different epochs and events from antiquity to contemporary times in order to have a complete historical narrative of the UK. This course has an important role since it will endow learners with specialized vocabulary from the historical and literary fields and will captivate them with the magic of literature. As it is online course, internet is a powerful highway to find out the necessary information as the main raw material from which tasks will be developed. We have combined programmed tasks with holistic ones pursuing different objectives which have their dead-lines.
